                        I'm not familiar with the Testors setup, but every moisture trap I'm familiar with is supposed to have moisture in it. Mine usually has about a half ounce of water in it after painting for an hour or so. If that's your only problem, don't worry about it.

                        Or maybe I just dont understand the problem Confused [%-)]

                        I too experienced the mysterious moisture issue with the testors compressor. I installed a moisture trap and still had issues when I used enamels. I have since upgraded to a Badger brush and a Paasche DL500 compressor and have had no further issues. I don't have a solution for you, as I didn't get it figured out myself.

                        moisture trap problems

                        I have recently started using my airbrush and although I have a fairly good understanding of how it works and have used it good results, last night i was having LOTS of problems with moisture. I no longer have any kind of instructions for the compressor. It is a testors tankless compressor and it has a moisture trap. The moisture trap typically has some water droplets in it, last night it had a lot more dropplets, not like there was accumulation at the bottom or anything just lots of dropplets. I figured out to unscrew the bottom and attempt to blow out the moisture but the trap never cleared completely. After doing this i could paint for about 2 minutes before the problem came back. Our relative humitity has been low at about 57%. I have painted with much much higher humidity with out issue. Am I over looking something? Any Ideas. I'm painting with Pollypaints and am thining with Tamiya acrilyc thiner at about 25% thinner. I'm using an Aztec brush.
