I recently ordered a bunch of Modelflex (Badger) paints. (All acrylics by the way.I) Included with this order was a large bottle of a new custom mixed color. Whenever I get a new bottle of paint, I always paint a patch on a piece of evergreen styrene and mark the brand and color etc. for future reference.

Wouldn't you know, the $12.00 custom color beaded up on the plastic and could not be brushed. It was as though there was oil on the plastic, which there wasn't. All the other colors worked just fine. The paint was stirred thoroughly. (I use a battery operated stirrer). I tried a different piece of plastic sheet, same result. Anybody ever run into this or have any suggestions? Returning the paint seems obvious, but for $12 it's hardly worth the hassle.
