                        I know, I need another airbrush like I need another hole in my head. Laugh [(-D]
                        With the amount of paint I am going to need to put out of the nozzle to paint my computer monitor case black, I am going to need an airbrush that puts out even more paint than my Anthem, Vega 2000 or Omni 3000.
                        So I emailed my connection last night and I now have a Badger Crescendo on it's way. According to my sources it puts out more paint than any airbrush on the market. I was even considering the Badger 400 spraygun for this job but was told that would be a bit more gun than I needed. Big Smile [:D]
                        This should prove to be an interesting paint job with all of the vent openings that need to be painted. I am still contemplating whether to use my T-shirt acrylics, MM Acryl, or something else. Urethanes would be the best bet, but I am not set up to spray them and be able to exhaust the fumes.

                        For me it is easy:

                        Simple .3mm A/B for general jobs, priming, etc.
                        High-end ones(both got MAC) .3mm for fine work and the 0.2mm for really fine work.

                        All 3 got teflon rings, so I can push pretty much anything through them.

                        I used to have a Paasche VL also but I sold it after I bought my first T-shirt airbrush, the Vega 2000.
                        The reason I have so many is so that I can be familiar with them should others on this forum and elsewhere ask about them. I am a Badger end-user that does not work for Badger or get paid by them, I just tell people what I like about Badger products and why I use them and Badger sends me samples when I need them. Wink [;)]

                        you better hold on to that 175 the first time you open her up Mike... The first time I used mine, the proverbial "40 days and 40 nights of flooding" came to mind... I think I emptied 1/2 the metal cup in a 1/2 second burst! I kind of sat there silent for a minute or two afterward with my mouth hanging open, and the faint "drip....drip....drip" of acrylic flowing off my desk the only thing to be heard.

                        okokokok.. a slight exaggeration... but that baby can put out some paint so I think if it's paint you want, you will soon have the right airbrush in your hands... it really did surprise me the first time I really pulled back more than a little more than normal on the trigger... it really flows...

                        It's gonna be perfect when I get around to building larger things like the 1/24 spit I have or the 1/72 B-36 I plan to make one day soon... with that 175 for the base coat and the 155 for the detail I'll be set!

                        Nice Mike. I saw that Fitto page a while back and was impressed. Would you do the flames like those you posted a while back. You put a link to a guy who made really realistic and excellent flames. That would be really neat. Would the flames come up from the bottom, or flow back from the screen?

                        I need to get off my lazy butt and get back into airbrushing and persue it harder so that I can make some money at it. There is a big market out there for automotive, motorcycles, motorcycle helmets, batting helmets, snowboards, etc.
                        I could make more in a week than I do on my job in a month. Cool [8D]

                        ok got that outta the way... BADGER!!

                        I have a 4000G, 360 and an anthem. I use the 4000G and the anthem in my T-Shirt Business (DDT'S) and the 360 on my models. I know Mike, I know I told ya on the phone that time I was gonna use the 360 on my Tee's but I don't like the way Creatix squirts from it, the 4000g on the other hand... man that a great brush for them, though at 65-70 psi the cup empties in a hurry Wink [;)]. Still using the Anthem on the background and blocking, everything else is done with the 4000G. I ordered Pat Gaines Lettering Video too, to make mine better... another thing I find the 4000G good for, lettering.
                        the 360 handles every phase of modeling so well I shelved my Iwatas I got (except for the mini-minispray gun which still puts out the best large coverage). Cleans up a little diffently though, but not bad.

                        How are things going with the T-shirt work?
                        I am getting the itch to get back into it again and am leaning toward the hard surfaces aspect of airbrushing such as helmets, snowboards, etc.
                        I don't think I would like using a gravity-feed airbrush for T-shirt work as it doesn't hold enough paint a you mentioned. The Anthem, Omni 3000, and Vega 2000 would be my choices.

                        I played around with Firefox some last night and today and while it is faster and more secure, it acts a little odd and I don't like that.
                        The cursor when typing is so close to the letter that it is hard to see the letter really well until you finish typing the letter. Maybe some more experimentation is needed. Wink [;)]

                        I am looking at a 2000 from Coast. I really dont care for the Cresendo as mine spits alot. I took it apart and it only got worse lol. I dont know what to do with it... want me to mail it to you to take a look at it????

                        I prefer Opera over Firefox, yes, slightly bigger but than I don't want to run a seperate application for e-Mail.

                        Slightly older, made by the same people as Firefox.
