Iwata sprint jet compressor ... RAVE...
Posted by ipms40049 on Friday, December 17, 2004 10:59 PM
Just tried out my new Iwata sprint jet compressor!! That thing is darn nice for such a small compressor. And for one that doesnt have an air tank to hold the air, its a beauty!!
Just turn it on and your ready to go, at your preset PSI, whatever that is - no need to wait for the air to build up.
Plus the built in regulator too!! Darn quiet as well.

Anyone else have this one that feels the same way?

Glad you are satisfied. I have the Smart jet which is actually the Sprint jet with an auto shutoff. The auto shutoff was a waste of money but that is the only complaint. I am very happy with all my Iwata stuff. I bought mine through Dixie, they had the best prices.

Enjoy your compressor.

Patrick...Just turned on my new Iwata Sprint like yours...and I love it! First comment was just how quiet it was. Took a few minutes to adjust the pressure and learn to work the lock ring on the setting. All in all, from years with canned air this Iwata is truely a luxury.

Have you looked at the Thayer & Chandler Air Star V refurbished compressor for $99? It's on Badger's website in the Garage Sale section at the bottom of the page here: http://www.badger-airbrush.com/garagesale.htm
It is probably made by the same company that makes that one for Iwata.

Ok thanks. I'll check it out. Im getting annoyed at my blue ice only being able to deliver 15 psi...
