Questions

Hi,

I'm not much of a experienced modeller and also new to the A/B. My compressor set up is the same as your first and seems to work OK. The second seems to be in the way with air hose and stuffs hanging around.

I also have 360 (after give up on Aztek 480 in the 7778 set). The joint between the air cap and the swivel part seems to leak when I flush it with water or glass cleaner (seen some bubbles came out of the joint) this doesn't happen with thinner thou, it works OK with all the paints I use (Gunze, Humbrol, alclad, future etc.) all the time.

Yes, that is the best way to connect it.

No, I have not had any problems at all with it getting loose at the swivel joint.

I second Mike on the Badger 360 swivel, no issues, and by the way, I love this brush. Everything in the sig was done with it.

Just for the record, mine is set up as:

Compressor -> Reg -> Trap / Filter -> 50 ft hose -> Second Trap / Filter -> Second Reg -> 8' airbrush hose -> Airbrush

There is a reason that there are two traps and regulators, just trust me.

The point is that the second moisture trap never gets any visible moisture in it even with the 50' hose between it and the first trap. The first trap picks everything up. As Mike and the others said, the BEST way is to have the trap as the last thing in the chain but if it is inconvenient, mounting it on the compressor does work.

best thing to do is use a dry air source such as a co2 tank, since its dry air and not pulling anything from the atmosphere no need for a trap. Thats what I use.
The 360 is a great great brush, only thing I had to get used to with it is on mine it seemed that I got the total regged ap on the gauge, and since I am used to a pressure drop from compressors when you pull the trigger, so I had a few misshaps when I first used it.
I also have a 4000G from T&C that is an awesome modeling brush, very highly recommended.
