Compressor died
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, December 22, 2004 10:34 PM
yeah, my wonderful compressor, of 14 years, just stopped working today. It still turns on, but it makes a buzzing noise and it starts shaking and then it stops. I'm in the market for a cheap airsupply, doesn't need to be silent, and it needs to be CHEAP. I know mike will suggest the AirStar V (i know I would) but that already is a little above my budget range. If anyone wants to, feel free to "donate" (helped with microtech vector Ti).

RIP medigas. We've known each other for 14 years, and your sudden death caused much grief Disapprove [V]

1337, please accept my condolences, if not a replacement compressor.

I'm sure Harbor Freight or someone of a similar ilk will be more than happy to furnish you with a new compressor, even if it might prove a little on the loud side.

I run a Werther3 hobby compressor which cost me about £90 in the UK, so I figure $90 in the US, might be worth a look, if it's in your budget range.

Harbor Freight has a great compressor with a regulator and a holder for your airbrush for $99.99. Mine has worked very well.
