Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Has anyone had their clear coat frost, but only on areas where an acrylic sludge wash was applied? I've had this happen with Model Master clear flat lacquer and Polly Scale clear flat acrylic, but it only seems to happen if it gets wet with water. Its weird because it only does it on panel lines, in recesses, etc. anyplace where the wash settles. Obviously it has to do something with the wash, but I don't know what?

Did you let your wash completely dry? I ended up destroying a model because the clear coat got areas of frosting from moisture in my airhose. That is the only cause I can think of for the problem that you experienced.

Never experienced the problem you describe. I've had Future frost from alcohol, but never a clear flat coat.
