When I was watching the "Biker Build-Offs" on the Discovery Channel last year, I was always struck by the fact that the bikes that I would want were the ones built by Indian Larry (R.I.P.). They looked comfortable and rideable for long distances, moreso than the ones seen from OCC or WCC. Even though there was never a realistic possibility in owning one of his creations, I was very saddened when I learned of his death. He had a unique outlook on life and was an artist in his own right.

As far as the flame artwork goes....Wow. Simply, Wow...

I've seen a lot of custom bikes and I can honestly say that is the best artwork I have ever seen on a motorcycle. Truly mesmerising.

I totally agree MM. Those bikes are also uncomfortable to ride for real long most of the time.

I also enjoy watching those shows, but I would not want to own one of those fancy thingies.

In biker parlance, the word that comes to mind is "Sick!" I always enjoy watching the Discovery Channel bike and car building shows and seeing some of the amazing paint that some of these guys can pull off.

Some of you may have seen him on the Discovery Channel show called, "Rides" where he flamed a black '32 Ford for a guy. It was awesome, but then again it should be for $12,000. Big Smile [:D]

This is not a model but I thought you might like to see this.
Mike Lavallee, the guy who painted this, is the guy who is credited with inventing this "true fire" style of painting. He is awesome to say the least.
