Gunze Sanyo paint question
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, January 24, 2005 2:01 PM
I purchased a dragon model jagdpanther. It came with some diecast metal parts. I order my supplies from squadron. Under their list of Gunze Sanyo paints is something call mr. metal primer spray. Is this something to be used on diecast metal parts or metal color paints. and also they have a silver base color. Is this like a grey primer color?

I have not used those Gunze products but for metal priming I would just cut some Model Master enamel primer gray 25% with lacquer thinner and have at it.

Why, not.

Laquer, Enamels and Acrylics are compatible, you might end up with more probs if you try to layer the same colour without having the first layer totally dried.

Check a paint compatability chart from one of the model paint makers, you will be surprised as to what is compatible and what not. Wink [;)]
