Dan, we had a discussion recently about this.. it appears some tamiya paints will eat into the coat underneath them... now as far as curing I give my paints 24 hours between coats as to be safe... 1 to 3 hours they should be very dry but I don't think cured would be applicable...
Hoever, even on a N1K1 I built recently, several WEEKS later Tamiya smoke ate through the underlying green... and it was dullcoated on top of that! So if what you have available is Tamiya then I would clear coat in between to be sure.. (Future works WONDERS at protecting the underneath coat) or if you have Model Master or other brands such as Vallejo available you won't have them eating through the underneath coats...
