AZTEK PAINT LEAK

the thinking about to change direction keep us buissy, we know about the AZTEK woul do general works ( paintint white and gull gray in a navy Corsair II 1968) , but for detail work ( we do build 1/144 models) seems to the BADGER 100 LG is the first choice, as you say practice practice


and for all of us, it is not the machine, it is the pilot ( SAKAI)

Maybe some of the more seasoned artists in here could help out. All I can say is dont spend all your money on the latest most expensive gizmo. I'll keep practicing.

Hi, i'm fellow modeler to Gabo, and also own a Aztek 470, my Aztek has 1 1/2 year more than Gabo, and still work but also has trouble with fine art and some leek. I build mostly 1/72 and 1/144, and i don't decide what airbrush buy, please HELP!!! we're thinking on Badger 150, but i'm thinking also on Anthem 155 or 360, 'cause Iwata HP, i agree means High Performance, Highly-Professional but also High Price!!!. Thanks for help, ( i was stup... , i sell my old Badger 200g)

THAAAAAAAAAAAANKS RYAN, another friend told me the same thing, drop it, no matter how well you do clean or take care of it, it wil suffer the same leak, ( sorry about your friend to ) so here in central america we can import viatually any airbrush, but i am little dissapointed right now with aztek, Sh*t happens...

i will buy another, and keeping the line, may be badger 150 and paasche LV are the contenders, any light about the smallest line of both??

Trash that AZTEK and go for virtually anything else. I am very suprised that is has lasted that long. My buddy bought one of those last year and I think it lasted him 6 to 8 months. He took meticulous care of it and it still crapped out on him.
I just gave him a call and he told me he had the same problem as you do. He didnt bother with sending it back to the factory, instead he sent it to the dumpster behind the apartment complex. Save your money and get a quality airbrush you can do repairs on without having to send it to a factory technician. I have used a Crescendo 175 and Omni 3000 and am very happy with both. I am still learning to operate them correctly and my knowledge is limited. Good luck to you my friend.

They're probably more likely to send you a new one. You say you've had it for 5 years? At that point, I'm surprised it still works, but yes, probably some kind of retaining ring has leaked or is worn through.

HI, the great thing is , here in Central America, we often repair our tools ourselves, jaja, the body already has been opened some times, so, i think no life time warrenty, and i think the shipping is hi from here to usa, anyway if i do send it to my brother in usa, he can send it to the manufacturer, and the question is , could they repair it??

Send it back to manufactures or to the hobby shop that you got it from , the body has a life time warrenty , only if you have'nt opened it if you have them they may charge you for them to fix the problem..
