Masking curved surfaces on aircraft.

Hi,

Who can give me a good advice of how to mask curved/oval surfaces such as cowlings (horizontal masking). When i try masking tape i never get that sharp strait line.
Thanks,

Ben.

For masking a straight line on a curved surface try using a 1/8 nch strip of tape. Its much more flexible then a wider piece. After you have the thin strip of tape in the correct position the you can overlay a wider piece of tape for more coverage.
