Best % thinner for airbrush use Testor's Polyscale acrylics ?

I recently purchased several bottles of Testor's Polyscale acrylics for a couple of 1/48 scale WWII Soviet a/c. What do you recommend as the best amount of thinner to use with this line of paints for airbrushing? Any tips or hints or better substitutes for thinners are appreciated.

I've heard it said that wisdom is learning from other peoples mistakes rather than your own. Thanks for your help.

I normally don't thin PolyScale acrylics as they spray just fine straight from the bottle. If I do thin them, I use water as recommended on the bottle.

Thanks MusicCity. I thinned per their recommended amount and found that it almost ran. I'll try airbrushing without thinning at all. I suppose that I'm so used to thinning to some degree it just does't seem right to omit that step. Thanks

The only reason to thin paint is to get it to flow through the airbrush at a given pressure. If it won't flow you can either increase pressure or thin the paint. I like to paint at relatively low pressure, say 10-15 psi, so my paint is usually somewhat thin. PolyScale is thin enough right from the bottle for me to spray at less than 10 psi.

I add just a bit of PolyScale thinner to it. It seems that it was always too thin when I used water, but when I used Poly S's thinner it worked out fine.
