Castrol Super Clean will remove most types of paints, however I have never tried it on clear parts so I have no idea whether it will cause them to fog or not. Try it on some clear scrap from the same manufacturer first to make sure it will not damage the parts.
As for masking canpoies there are as many techniques as there are modelers. I personally use Tamiya masking tape cut into very thing strips for the curved areas. Mask an outline of the pane, and then use wider pieces of tape to cover the remainder. I recall seeing this topic frequently in the "Techniques" section so you could also do a search there for other ideas.
