i was reading an article, can't remeber where, about *polished needles* do these improve the performance of airbrushes? i have a Paasche VL and considering purchasing a polished needle w/crown air cap from Paasche.

any and all thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated

Hmmm. I'm not sure if this is the same thing but I've heard where one can purchase and apply a "wax" to the needle (or neddles if you prefer. LOL! Just kidding) to provide a silky smooth action on the trigger. I don't know if this is the same as purchasing a polished needle or not though. I, like you, hope someone can shed some light on the topic.

The polished needle is for the #1 tip. It supposed to spray finer lines. It can be purchased at dixieart.com for about 1/2 to 2/3 the msrp from paasche. I also use a VL
