                        I need some expert opinions on what to substitute the Tamiya's aircraft spray AS-12 Bare metal silver with. I am currently working on the new block 50 Fighting falcon and I cannot find it locally, or on the net. If someone has it I would buy it, but for now what looks the same? thanks all.......

                        If you are looking for a surface that is truly "Bare Metal Silver" I'd recommend a metallizer. For rattle cans Testors metallizers work pretty well; I'm partial to the buffing kind. If you airbrush it Alclad is probably the best. Either of these produce a finish that looks like real metal not spray-painted silver.

                        Thanks MusicCity for the advise on the paint, by the way I visited your site and would you offer a newby any advise on the Fighting Falcon build? I would like to have the F-16 look like some of your builds.........
