While filling seems on one of my models, I accidently found that finger nail polish remover works wonderfully at removing enamal paint.

Castrol Super Clean is the best followed by Easy-off oven cleaner in the yellow can.
The problem with Easy-Off though is that you need to seal up the model in a plastic container or something as the fumes from the cleaner do all the work.

I recently read in a book that said if you mess up on a paint job, you can soak in a chemical (the only one i remember is pine sol) and start anew. not 48 hours after i read this and reterned it to the library, i messed up a paintjob on my tamiya Lamborghini Countach. I'm using Testor's red enamel. Anyone know another household chemical that won't muss the plastic?
