This may end up being a great deal.

That one would be perfect for me. I put it on watch and will check it when I get home from work today. Hopefully I can make a deal on this one. Thanks Mike!

I got sniped at the lat minute. I had a bid of $65.50 in with 4 seconds left and lost it for 66 bucks. Ah well, another one will come along and I'll get it. I made a good run at it though.

I flagged that one to watch the other day, and still have my eye on it. It would still be cheaper than buying a brand new one, even with shipping. I should get my tax money on Friday, so the compressor situation will resolve itself pretty soon reguardless.

Yeah Chris, about the 4 seconds, I was mighty peeved. But, what can ya do?

There is a program for ebay that will auto bid up to a certain amount the very last second it is up. I will try to find the program for you.

Even with shipping, that Jun Air will be cheaper than a 300 dollar hobby compressor from Dixie Art. I used the shipping calculator and it looks like about 30 bucks via ups. So that's not too bad. I do appreciate the heads up though.

I put a bid in on it. I can't wait until the last minute this time, so I just put one in. I've got my fingers crossed. If I don't get it though, not a tragedy, I'll order one off of Dixie Art. I'm pulling for the Jun Air though. I love the (larger) one we've got at work.

Edit.....I just got outbid. Crap that is frustrating. Well, I quit on this one, I'm going to get this one off of Dixie Art. Anyone have any comments on it?

Should I get a different one than this or try for the Jun Air again before the auction is over?

Josh,

That looks like a pretty good compressor but I don't know of anyone who has one so I can't comment on how long it will last. It is made by SimAir and they are know for good compressors I believe. I think the Jun-Air is in another class altogether though, but it is hard to say how well the one on Ebay has been taken care of.
If the guy used cheap oil in it then it will be in the repair shop before too long.
Tough call dude.
If the price range of that Stealth is what you want to spend then that is probably your best bet. The next step up would be the Silentaire 20-A or the Badger Million-Air (Same compressor) and they are both $400.

Yeah, I don't think I want to spend 400 bucks on a compressor, so I may just go with the Sim Air. My little Testors Blue Ice compressor is not completely dead after using it for a few years, so I'm optimistic for it's chances for lasting a good long while.
