Probably, what you are going to have do is soak the Aztec in gasoline for 12 hours.

Then; you have to be careful with this step for safety concerns; but you will need an external ignition source that you can throw at the container that holds the Aztec and gasoline. What this will do is ignite the gasoline and burn all of the paint out of the airbrush as well as melt the farce of a tool they call an airbrush.

From there, you can begin anew and repent your sins for buying that piece of crap. Next, you will want to contact a lawyer and work out a class action lawsuit against Testors for selling you a product that will never live up to your (or their) expectations.

Hope this helps

If you have a moisture trap on the compressor and it's working properly you should not be getting any moisture at the brush. Admittedly closer to the brush is better though. I have a 50' hose going from my compressor to my bench, and until last fall my moisture trap was on the compressor 50+ feet from the airbrush and I never got a trace of moisture out of my brush.

I had the same splat effect, so if u paint a long time, often , I unscrew the hose and let the moisture flow away, this reduce the water splat effect.

Moisture trap on Aztek line

I know plenty has been said in this forum about this airbrush, including me!, but I found that the long Aztek airline was a big moisture trap even with a trap on the compressor.. My model shop owner tells me this also , and this must contribute to my paint splattering.SOOOOO does any body have a trap about 16 inches from the gun, what type and how did you attach to the small plastic Aztek air line..Question [?] I have a Paasche vl also that i use now with a moisture trap as the Aztek gave me hell!! with the spluttering, but really want to use it again for the fine stuff.....
