OK, compressor guru's- what do you think of this compressor? It's at Harbor Freight Tools normally for $99 on sale for $69. It's 1/4 HP, 3 gallon unit. Delivers .7 cfm at 40 psi. I would be using it for airbrushing models and artwork. It'll run a simple brad nailer gun which is important for my usage. It says quiet operation but who knows huh?

The Harbor Freight ones have some sort of weird airhose linkage that requires another adapter. That's the only problem I've read with them. They'll do the job though. Those are priced so low, look at the oil-lubed ones. They have a few oil lubed ones. Oil lubed is quieter and has a longer lifespan.

Thanks for the reply. I went ahead with this one already though. I got the brad nailer gun I wanted and a nice regulator with moisture trap all the same brand. I like the linkage connectors and had no problem linking all the various parts together including my airbrush hose. It's a quik-release style which makes changing tool and disconnecting a snap. No air leakages at all after first connection and test. Will try some actual art-type airbrushing tomorrow with the Aztek and report back. Thanks again.Smile [:)]
