Question about painting the hull of Tamiya 350:1 Yamato or general painting question.

Alright, i sanded out all the molding marks and then re-sanded then hull using 2000 grit sandpaper. Am I ready to paint the hull? I am using 2 cans of Tamiya Dull Red Spray paint. Of course i'll clean the hull first with alcohol.

i see very fine scratch marks make by the andpaper, will several layers of paint cover the flaw?

you should prime before you paint.

If you can see flaws before you paint you will most likely be able to see them after you paint. Spray your first coat very thin, or as Hatewall mentioned use a thin coat of primer, and if the sanding marks haven't disappeared it's time to get the sand paper out again.
