I use acrylics exclusively for airbrushing, and very few enamels for handbrushing. Tamiya and MM Acryl are both very good and highly recommended. Unfortunately, since these are specialist paints, I don't believe that you'll have any luck finding them at general stores like Wallmart. However, you can always order them online.

QUOTE: testors are oil base colors, i think.

Testors Model Master paints are enamels. Testors Model Master Acryl are acrylics. As far as I know they don't have any oil based paints.

You can fine a bit of testors in wal-mart but a very low selection, best to go with a hobby store. For water-based paints, I would recommend Tamiya. I don't have an airbrush so I won't be able to help you with the thinning.

Hope this helps
