Hey guys,
Painted a figure using oils. In the past I've usually used oils for the face and hands, and acrylic for the clothing. But this time I tried it on the clothing of the figure.
I first painted the base colors of each segment with acrylic and then used the oils for the highlights and shadows. The tonal depth and the blending qualities of oils are wonderful but while a sheen can work for skin, I am not too thrilled with it on the clothes.
Anyone know of a way to matte the sheen of the oil paint?
Thanks,
Mike
