Problem with Future... any ideas?

Lots of layers of pebbles.... as in 2 or 3 .. work very well.

Spray a mist... let it dry, watch a show or something for an hour.... mist it again.... another hour or so.... mist it again.... watch another show.... decal.. wash... pastel... wait overnight or an hour or so... then flat coat...

works like a charm.

Yep, good advice all around. You really have to let the future 'settle' for several minutes. You can put on a 'wet' coat, but there is a very narrow window where the perfect wet coat turns into a runny mess. I prefer to just let it level out on it's own.

Glenn provides you with some sound advice.

Probably would be a good idea to pick up a regulator to give you a little more control. Another thing that you should add is a moisture trap if you don't have one mounted already. They both will save you a lot of headaches.

I had that problem until some of the folks on this board told me to use several light coats, and to give the Future time to settle after spraying. They were right. It looks bad at first, but after about fifteen minutes the Future settles down and the pebbles disappear.
However, since you say you have no regulator, the pressure may also be a problem. I've had the best luck shooting Future at about 12psi, whereas your compressor is probably ushing 20-30psi. If you can't afford a regulator, try using a wide area tip on your brush to minimize the intensity of the spray, and back it away from the model as far as practical (practice on scrap first, of course).
