At LAST !! I have the POWER !!

Yeeeeaaah after years of spray cans and my trusty Revell beginners airbrush, I've now gone up a gear.

As some of you may recall I had a fair old job trying to get hold of an Airbrush off Ebay at Christmas, well after 5 weeks, 10 emails and 3 phone calls, it arrived.

Last week I finally got a compressor to power it - and despite being only £60 retail, it ain't half bad, unfortunately the plastic guard has shattered in transit, so I pieced it back together with epoxyglue and industrial tape - sorted.

Now I've just got to figure out how to use them..... Wink [;)]

John You'll soon be wondering how you painted anything without a compressor, I know I do.

What's the AB? Is it double action?

You do realise you'll be shopping for an air tank and a regulator before you know it, don't you?

Have fun.

Karl

Its double action, but thats all I know about it mate, They are available on ebay for 20 -odd quid, no manufacturer markings or stamps. Definately a well made and solid little tool though.

Looks like a Peak, who also make AB's for Tamiya and Iwata.

Is that an Fw190 pit I see in the back ground?

Good eyes Karl.

Yeah its the pit for the Revel/Hase 1/32 190D-9, which I had begun building before I suddenly felt the urge to to the Mig - so that'll be next on the agenda.

Yep, you're gonna love it once you get used to it. Like Karl said you'll soon be wondering how to paint without one. Just jump in and use it, that's the only way to get used to one.

great! you'll love not having to go out and by those cans almost after every model... and with a good steady source of air like that I think you'll be surprised how easy it is to paint!
