for about 10 dollars more you can get a construction type compressor that is not really big with the regulator and everything that would probably last longer. It would work but if I remember right it has a plastic body and is a diaphragm compressor which tend to make the air coming out of the brush pulsate (not a steady flow)

if noise is not a huge problem the commercial one in the hardware section is all metal contstruction and has a 2 gal tank which emliminates any pulsating from the compressor, plus it comes with a regulator. I have one and I dont even notice when it comes on now... and my wife never has complained about it.. it's just not as quiet as some of the higher priced hobby compressors...

Testor Mighty Mini?

I think I know the answer to this but . . . has anyone seen the Testor Mighty Mini compressor/airbrush combo at Walmart? They've got it for around $50 bucks. I looked it up on Testors web site but (of course) no specs.

I thought it might be a neat little compressor to set up in my (in-house) work shop with my Badger 150.

Is it worth it?
