H42 is gloss. I've used it on three 1/12 scale Southern Cross ATAC armor models. Tamiya thinner is good to use for airbrushing it.

An interesting observation???

I managed to get around to getting some paint onto a Catalina last night. I was trying to spray Gunze Blue Gray onto the bird, and without thinking about it, I used some Tamiya thinner. I realise this is a "no no" - it wasn't done on purpose!!!

Interesting observation - whereas the paint is usually a matt (H42 out of interest), it has most definitely come out in a gloss finish!! [:0]

Can anyone explain this? Could it have been the thinner? May I not have shaken it properly?

Appreciate the ideas Smile [:)]
