No paint comes out

you need to take that part off too. take the needle out first, and then the little nozzle part and saok it in lacquer thinner and then gently clean. The needle could prbably use some scrubbing as well.

You still have dried paint in the nozzle. I can see some on the needle in the photograph. Use some pipe cleaners and laquer thinner to CAREFULLY clean out the nozzle and everything else in the airbrush that has dried paint on it. Also clean the needle.

Loosen the needle chuck screw at the rear od the needle, slide the needle to the rear, reassemble everything on the tip, and then push the needle forward until it BARELY seats in the nozzle and tighten the chuck screw.

Henceforth be sure to thoroughly clean your airbrush after EVERY use.

I put the tip and the part of the airbrush near it (you'll see in the pic) in lacquer thinner overnight and then cleaned thoroughly with pipe cleaners. And I found out what the problem was. If the tip is too close to the rest of the airbrush, it will not spray, but if it is out some, stuff comes out. Do I leave it like this? I'm sorry for asking all these question, I'm just very confused.

Take the tip out and soak it in lacquer thinner overnight.
I think you have dried paint in the it.

water comes out! but only when the needle is not in there. (I was in Boston from Sunday until Thursday, no time to clean it until yesterday)
I dont know what I did wrong. I even put the needle in the thinner by itsself.

The T141 Valve Washer is the one I am talking about.
You can take that head O-ring off and the needle seal you mentioned is a material called Calrez which is similar to Teflon. I don't think lacquer will affect it.

check the manual for your brush... it should have the instructions on removing the tip in there... if nothing else prop the airbrush against something with the tip only submerged in laquer thinner... let it sit for awhile... an hour or so... then try to take the tip off then... once you get that off soak it in lacquer thinner while longer then use a toothpick or such to gently remove the paint fromthe tip... make sure the spray hole is free of paint...

just make sure from now on you spray sufficient thinner or mineral spirits if enamel, windex if acrylic until you are sure the brush is clean.. about every 5 times or so take as much as you can off (tip, nozzle etc) and soak it in laquer thinner for 15 min or so and clean it out inside... you won't have this type of problem happen atleast not NEAR as often...

Which one?
Also, how do I get it in the lacquer without getting one of the O rings in it?
Edit: I also got the needle out, but where it sticks out (of the airbrush, where it sprays paint), it looks like the paint completely covered the hole.

I would scrub it gently, using pipe cleaners for the small parts, and well that's it because pretty much all the parts are small.

Fill a small container with some lacquer thinner if you have some and soak the front half of the airbrush in it. DO NOT soak the area in the middle as there is an O-ring in the air valve that can swell and stop working because of the lacquer.
After it soaks in the lacquer for an hour or so, check and see if the needle will come out after loosening the needle chuck. If it won't move still then soak it longer.
You may have to just soak the front of the airbrush overnight to get everything broke loose in there.

Yes, it was acrylics (by Tamiya)
Tank, scrub it with a sponge, paper towels?
I disassembled it as much as I could (and so I know how to put it back together) and got the chuck loose but the long metal needle, I'm guessing, wont come out.

Like Tankmaster7 said, you have to cleanit everytime you use it.
You have dried paint in the nozzle now that is plugging it up.
What kind of paints did you spray through it?
If it was acrylics then it is going to take some time soaking it to loosen that paint.
If you loosen the needle chuck will the needle move so that you can pull it out the back?

you need to clean your airbrush EVERY SINGLE TIME. (BTW I wasn't yelling I was emphasizing.) Best bet would be to disassemble the whole thing now soak in lacquer thinner, (except for sensitve parts like o ring) and scrub clean. Reassemble and it should work. Problem is probably somewhere in the nozzle.

It sounds like it wasn't cleaned well enough.
Will it spray water?
