Lucien -

Depends. I usually use 3, or so. Depends on the coverage you want, and the shape of the model and how good you are with an airbrush.

I usually shot a light dusting coat over the model. Then go back and shoot the hard to reach spots. Then another, heavier, coat or two, until the coverage is what I'm looking for.

Acryilcs- how many coats?

How many coats is about average for an airbrushed acrylic coat? After the primer, I usually put down a light coat, then a relatively heavy coat after that. There are still a few spots that show through, however, so I thought I'd ask how many you usually put down. Thanks.

(I'm using Model Master acrylics)
