Vallejo makes some great acrylics and they have the complete RLM line.. Color of Eagles markets the Vallejo line (rebranded) in the US with the RLM colors as well.. I like them because they are prethinned for airbrushing and give an incredibly smooth finish..

I use Tamiya Dark Yellow and German grey acrylics for armour and really like the results.

Gunze acrylics, simply the best as far as I'm concerned.

Great range of colours, can be thinned with Tamiya acrylic thinner, and the finish is second to none.

I use Tamiya Acrylics and they work great. Others seem to think the same.

all of it is good in the flat colors... Acryl, Gunze aquaeous, Tamiya and the others that hobby shops usually have. Acryl sticks the best. Tamiya scrapes off the easiest. So, that is useful for battle subjects. Welcome to the world of stuff that cures fast.

For gloss, I almost never use any of 'em except Gunze. Usually, gloss is enamel or synthetic lacquer for me.

I don't know if I'm right but I use Tamiya Dark yellow for the yellow and German Grey for the grey. I have found Tamiya to have good paints.

WHAT IS THE BEST ACRYLIC PAINT?

Hello,
I have always used Testors enamel paint but I am tired of the fumes and the clean up so I am switching to acrylic. I could really use some advise on which brand of acrylic paint is most popular with WW II armor builders. Also what colors are used for the WW II German Tanks for the yellow {Gelb} base and the gray {Grau} base. I thank you in advance for any help you can give me.
God be with you,
John
