Thanks guys,
I appreciate your responces. I agree a air compreser with tank IS the way to go if you can afford and a serios modeler. I'm currently in between moves and my compresser is in storage and i need to paint my assembled models...arg!
The canned air will be a stop gap until i've got my gear back...but was wondering how it would work with the can...i've rambled enough and you were more than kind to answer.

Thanks,
BWog

Go with the compressor, you will save money (in the long run), increase your painting satistfaction 100 fold (at least) and really be able to explore the capability of your brush.

I was using canned air, and only last week got a compressor.

I'm really glad I did, canned air gives you so little control over the pressure, and runs out so quickly I think it's not worth bothering with.

Have a go - it's not too expensive if you only buy one can, but after that you might want to look at getting a pressurised tank or compressor.
