At one time, Paasche offered a converter (1/8" NPT male on one side, 1/4" NPT female on the other) for attaching the airbrush hose to either a standard air hose or compressor. The only place I've seen it is in Walther's model RR catalogue.

I'm not familiar with Paasche airbrushes but from the pictures on their web site the connector appears to be a 1/8" NPT connection. Compressors are typically 1/4" NPT (NPT stands for National Pipe Threads) however yours may be non-standard.

Not a lot of help but maybe a starting point.

compressor and airbrush hose fittings

Hi all,

I am new to airbrushing, and I decided to get myself a beginner set from autobody-depot. The set I bought was the Paasche VL with a small silent compressor.

When it was delivered about a month ago, I found that the air hoses couldn't fit and I have searched the local hardware shops but could not find a solution. Then I went online and order via the web. That was worse, I bought all kinds of sizes but yet they couldn't fit. Can somebody help me?

I have measured that to join the 2 hoses together, one has a female 1/2" (paasche) and the hose from the compressor is a female 3/8", am i measuring wrong?
