Russian nosecone color

I knew that FS is 100% about US military colors, but a friend told me that probably there'd be a close color that match the russian one.
I remember have seen the RLM 83 on Polly scale and MM at LHS.

well curiousity got the best of me and I went out and looked... the FS number is: FS34128 ... Vallejo sells it as Flat Green, Humbrol colors it is number 131, several websites said RLM 83 is the shade (available through many paint makers including MM)

I just looked at this website and "Color of Eagles" acrylics is actually part of Aeromaster paints so that might be a good bet - order RLM 83 by Color of Eagles paint from www.greatmodels.com and it sounds like you will be ok!

You probably aren't going to find an FS color that matches anything Russian. FS stands for "Federal Standard" and is the US federal standard colors. You can probably find the color you want, but I don't think it's going to have an FS equivalence. Stranger things have happened though, so I could be wrong.
