I like the medium head on mine to do modeling with. I've been practicing artwork with it using the fine head with some good success, but that's using inks and watercolors. I've used the fine head with model paints, but they're finicky, they want to clog and you have to thin them way down. I'd go with the medium for sure for modeling puposes, it works great.

Hey Mazza, I don't agree with the gravity feed does better but I have a 100G and I like it. You can use lower pressures with gravity feed but I like higher pressures anyway so it doesn't matter to me. Which tip to get is a hard call. I have the medium but I think I'm gonna order the fine needle/nozzle also. If you like to thin you paints greater than 50% I would say get the fine. but clogging is an issue. If you have the money go ahead and order the medium but get the fine needle/nozzle too, then you'll have no doubts.

The tip on my 100G needle was a little rough when I got it. I have polished it some with 1200 grit paper with it chucked in a drill and it's a little better now. Anyone else done this. Maybe I should post this as a separate topic Question [?]

Seems like Im going to go with Badger 100LG or Badger Anthem. Im looking at Dixieart and Im wondering with 100LG there are three nozzles available. Fine, Medium and Large nozzle. Which one should I buy?

Or do you think Anthem is better. I have heard gravity feed gives better results? Its so confusing!!!
