omni 4000 or 5000
Posted by lavony on Friday, May 6, 2005 3:18 PM
Hello everyone
I read good things about the omni 4000 & 5000, and I was wondering from those 2, which will be the best to start with (I'm buying my first airbrush ever).
does the 5000 can do all the painting jobs for large and smaller surfaces?
I'm building 1/48 scale planes.

The only one I use is the 5000. I'll say for 1/48 planes, the 5000 will make you refill often since its cup is small. I don't mind refilling during an airbrush job, but others would rather not. So, getting the 4000 is probably better for ya.

I agree, get the 4000.

You are going to have to go some to empty a full colour cup on a 4000!!!!!

I know, I still haven't managed it with mine.

The 4000 should be ideal for what you are planning to do with it.
