Airbrush Comparison Eclipse/Anthem
Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, June 21, 2003 5:27 PM
Well, after progressing over the last 30 years with a Binks, Aztec, and a Badger 200 I'm thinking of adding another brush to the arsenal. I've pretty much narrowed the choices down to a Badger Anthem 155 or an Iwata HP-BCS. Both models are bottom feed (which I prefer for my use) and and have single needle/tip combos. The single needle and tip kind of appealed to me. Other than a few bucks difference in price (the Anthem being about $20 bucks or so cheaper) they appear to be very similar. I don't have anyplace here in town to compare, so my comparisons have been of the internet variety. Looks like a toss up to me. Can anybody shed more light on the subject?

rhergy,

I would also look into the Thayer & Chandler Omni 3000 as it is an excellent brush also. Actually all three of the ones mentioned are comparible in terms of spray pattern, they only differ in balance and feel.
