The government has recently required Tamiya to relable their painting products in the USA. I bought some Tamiya paint today that has the new labels, so thats a good indication that they are now shipping product.[8D]

Chasing the ultimate build.

I spoke with them personally about this situation when I was at TamiyaCon a few weeks ago.

It was indeed just a minor problem that only required some new labels. It seems the paints are readily available again, too. My hobby shop's rack was jam-packed last weekend.

It's important to note that the paints are exactly the same as before, only the labels are different. Some folks have been incorrectly reporting that the paints were reformulated, and that's not so.

So does this mean they will ship 23mL acrylic paints to Canada now (b/c we're only getting the 10mL for a year now)? Or is this just something winthin the continental US?
