                        I am new to the hobby after several years of being away. I bought a second airbrush, a Badger 155 from DixieArt. I would have to second what many have said here about DixieArt-I think they are pretty reputable company and provide great customer service.

                        Rick - actually I never thought of that till now Wink [;)] Tito has bigger nails... maybe I'll strart on him! (he's about 90lbs)

                        Darwin - I think you'll love your 155. That is my main brush at present and I really fell in love with it from the day I first sprayed with it. I am getting the HP-CS as I want to try out some German squiggle type camos and the sort but the 155 will still figure heavily in my painting.

                        I ordered a Badger 155 Anthem from Dixie Art at 2230 CST on Tuesday, May 31and it arrived in the noon mail or Friday June 3. Ya can't beat that with a great big stick! Now I have to get some practice with it. I have a 1/72 and a 1/148 and a 1/32 F-105 primered and waiting for color coat.

                        Rick - decided on the HP-CS... had to wait a bit from when I made my decision because of the work I have had done to the house recently... (have replaced every appliance except the stove, new roof, foundation leveled etc... about $14,000 in work since December)

                        With respect to the Badger 200, it depends on which 200 one is speaking about. It turns out that not all 200s are the same. The 200NH uses the same head assembly as the 155 Anthem. Currently I can't complain at all about the 200NH's spray pattern. I think it does a beautiful job, although I've never painted with a 100 (or any of the myriad other Badgers that use its head assembly), so I cannot compare the two.

                        I've never used the Iwatas but I simply love the spray pattern that the Badgers puts out. The same head assembly is used on the 150 and 200 that is on the 100's. It has been very rainy and humid here in Georgia and I've not had a chance to fire up any of my brushes but that'll change when I come back from National Guard duty next week. Got a lot of stuff cheap at Hobby Lobby just waiting for the work table!

                        Yep, I've got a Revolution and a 100LG and the 100 is my go to airbrush. They're actually pretty similar, but I like that I can (and do) switch to the fine needle/nozzle to practice illustration work. (It's considerably harder than I expected, but I'll persevere.) I do get better control with the 100 using the medium tip than I do with the CR. I really love this brush.

                        Hey Mike, don't see you around here much anymore. I have to agree on the Badger 100LG. I bought one recently & it is now my favorite AB. Actually gets better results, for me at least, than the Revolution I bought last year.

                        Might as well give another echo off the internet walls for DIxieArt. I bought my Paasche from them about six months ago. The shipping service was prompt and professional. Their prices are usually among the lowest, and with free shipping on orders over $45, they are hard to beat.
