Aerograph-anyone else use one?

Smile [:)]Hi Everyone,

I am currently using an areograph sprite airbrush and wondered if anyone on the forum used one. I seem to go through an awful lot of nozzle o rings/washers they usually split after a month or so of use and I wondered if this is normal.

I use enamel paints, and a solvent cleaner and I always clean the airbrush after I use it, I just wondered if anyone else had the same problem.

I use several super 63's which use the same nozzles. The o-ring is very small and delicate and if you take the nozzle out to clean after every use it will wear out also rubber o-rings don't like solvents like you are using as they tend to swell or dry the oring out . The good news is that there is a teflon oring available part number A-51-K10W. I ordered mine from Bearair but I assume you can find parts in England since the airbrush is made there. If you have trouble getting some let me know and I'll try and help you get some.

The new owners of Aerograph are Bell Creative : http://www.bellcreative.co.uk and they sell spare parts; they also list a number of retail shops but I am not sure that every shop sells airbrushes. The Sprite is the airbrush I know which can work with the lowest pressure.

Thank you all for coming José
