Badger 150 problem
Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, June 5, 2005 6:11 PM
Greetings!
Maybe someone can gimme some help.
I haven't cranked up my 150 in a long time till this morning. Everything ready to go..paint, air, model, press the trigger...nothing!
Take it apart and it seems the o-ring on the needle valve where the airline comes in is the culprit. Can this be replaced with a teflon washer or do I need to contact Badger and get a new one?
It's soooo tiny I would hate to have to look at hardware stores to try and find one similar
Thanks in advance!

Is the air valve o-ring torn, ripped, or just stuck? That o-ring should be captive on the brass stem that goes through the valve. When mine starts sticking I usually take the air valve apart and lubricate the o-ring. I usually use airbrush lubricant for that, but something like Vaseline should work to.

Nope, it's fine as far as I can tell. I put a few drops of lube on it last night and I'll give it another try today.

Creekdude if you stilol need to replace the OL-ring, you can go to any hobby styore or craft store that carries Airbrushes and supplies. They will most likely have spare O-rings for you to purchase. If not, then E-mail me. I can get a few for you.
