finally got underway on painting my ferrari 360 by tamiya; the tree parts.
and Ive realized, a 0 brush is quite useless... its too thin for anything of decent size; yet its like a giant sharpie when doing detail work... took me 2 hours to do the air manifold cover; going back and forth over and over with 3 colors sandwhiched and one would just slip into the other and then repaint and again and again, and I set a new level for how anal I can be.
however I can say with certainty that its the best painting Ive ever done. far from the quickest however. on the plus side; I did the valve covers which are also 2 tone; and I managed to get the 2 tone look done the first shot without any slips.
so... is modeling supposed to be relaxing?
