Thanks for the reply, I'll give the lacquer thinner a go. Yes it is alot of paint. Back then I paid $1.49 a bottle, now I pay $2.50. Thanks again.

That sounds like a lot of paint to be discarding if it still is good enough to run through the airbrush. If drying is a problem, try adding a few drops of lacquer thinner (don't worry, there is no compatability problem here). I do this to speed up the dry time with Model Master and Floquil enamels regularly. Mix your bottles of old paint well with a stir stcik and then agitate for a few minutes. I use an old vibrating sander and hold it so that it raps the side of the bottle.

While cleaning out my basement, I found some paint that I purchased back in 1995 and must have misplaced. I painted one of my test models with it and now three days later, the surface is still tacky. The paint is Model Master and I paid $75 back in '95, just to give you idea of how much there is. Is there any thing that I can do to save this stuff or should I just chuck it? I would sure hate to just throw it away.
