Has anyone used this compressor from Sears?

haven't used that exact compressor, it will be much louder than a hobby compressor but I use a commercial compressor like that and it doesn't bother me. I looked on Lowes site for comparison and they listed a 77dba compressor as "quiet" so you can take that as it is...

as long as you dont live in an apartment or dont have people in the house who would be bothered by noise you will get used to the sound. If you decide this is the compressor for you and DO have people in the house you could always out it in the garage and run an air line from there to your modeling space.

If noise is really a concern there are the quieter (but mostly tankless) hobby compressors out there starting aroun $99 and up to the hundreds...

My biggest concern is the noise. It says it operates around 80 dBA.
