Not really. I prefer freehand, but it's pretty good for camo as well.

I dunno. I tried using it for a very simple curve, and when I cut it with my knife it just wouldn't cut clean. I always use it for my canopies so I know how to cut this stuff... Any suggestions?

Is that the standard stuff in the blue and white box? I can get some of that, do you just stretch it over the area to mask off? it wont hold a straight line doing that though will it?

First you stretch it a bit, push it flat against a hard surface and then, while stretched, you cut pieces off with a sharp knife. These pieces can be layed and pressed on the canopy, and will stay put. Just don't stretch too far. You can find many info on it online.

I also work in a lab, hehehe. It's in a blue and white box, with Parafilm-M printed on the box as well as the tape backing.

It's a very good masking agent for canopies, but useless for camo.

Good point. Do you think they would have some around physical therapy offices?

I have no idea. I work in a molecular lab... (By the way, if you do buy a roll, team up with someone. It does get old after a while.)

If you have someone working in a lab, ask him/her to get you some. (Like 10 inch or so. A roll would last forever...)

Has anyone tried masking with Parafilm M? How good is it?

It's excellent. One of the best masking materials. If you can lay your hand on some, you can experience with it; it's especially good for canopy masking. (You can find everything that is to know about it online.)
