If you want a great silver finish try a product made by Krylon called "Short Cuts". It comes in a 1 oz bottle, is lacquer based, and can be airbrushed with ease. No primer coat is required. It is a little fragile so I spray a light coat of Future over it before masking. You can find this stuff in K Mart for under a $1.50.
