I have actually never had any bleed under a mask. Course I've only bee airbrushing for a few months. I always just made sure to burnish the tape down really really well before I painted. I use a metal dental tool that I slightly modified, I think you can get something similar used from a dentist, or I've seen them for a couple of bucks at an Army surplus store. Basically I just make sure the tape is down well enough that I don't seen any air underneath it and can see the color of the plastic or the primer. Sorry I can't help with touching up. Have you tried touching up with the well mixed paint that you airbrushed with, it should be the exact same shade and consistancy.

Touch up advice

I need some advice on handling touch up areas. After masking and airbrushing, I almost always have some bleed through somewhere. Touching up with a brush sometimes makes things worse. It's probably due to using the paint straight from the bottle.

This gets off onto another topic. If I thin the paint for brushing, I always pull out too much, and either try to store the excess, or end up wasting it. The only option I can come up with is buy two bottles to keep one thinned and the other not.

How do you guys handle these situations?
