Found the model master colour it's actually 1917, not 1717, but since you gave me the FS number I'm in business. Last can too!

Cheers!

That will help immensely!

I could find crisscross charts for the X & XF series of Tamiya acrylics, but not for the AS series. Is this something you found online?

Howdy,

Now the AS-8 is equivalent to the Humbrol 181, which in turn is equivalent to the testors MM 1717 Dark sea blue 15042 (15042 is the federal standard number).

Hope that this is of help and all the best, regards

I just picked up a Tamiya F1U Corsair, and I'm supposed to paint it AS-8 Navy Blue. But the LHS only stocks the TS series of rattle cans. Since I have yet to dive into buying an airbrush, what is the TS series colour I should use? Or do I order the colour online? Or do I just buy an enamel rattle can, if so what colour? The LHS stocks Testors rattle cans.

Yah, yah, I should buy an AB and hand mix the colour, w/e! Tongue [:P]

So long folks!
