preshading vs post-shading?

Well pre-shading only works well on a vehicle that only has one colour ie: Dark yellow. If dose not work if you have a dark yellow, red brown and dark green camo. Also, some say it over dose the effect.

About post-shading I could not tell you, I have not do it.

i use a mixture of both techniques sometimes, but post shading wins out most of the time. its gonna be a personal preference, so you'll just have to try each technique and see which one you prefer. later.

The end result is what counts & both techniques can be effective if done correctly. I prefer post shading as I think I have more control that way, but like Chris said, try em both & see which works best for you.

I like post shading because I feel that I have more control over the effect. also I think its easier to fix mistakes when post-shading as opposed to preshading
