I don't have any experience with the Vega 2000, but I use the Paasche D500 compressor. It's loud and gets hot quickly, and unless things have changed since I bought mine years ago you'll need a water trap and pressure regulator. Those items are pretty much a necessity for using a compressor and weren't included with mine.
The Paasche will work, but for the money you would probably be better served with a different compressor. If you search this forum, you'll find recommendations from others. Since I've only used the Paasche, I'm not really in the position to suggest what to get.
