OK, I just got back from the nats. apart from a whole stack of models and AM, i got this:

Iwata hp-bcs and an iwata silent compressor the kind with only one piston.

Brag brag brag etc..
now my question is, is the hp-bcs superior to the 155 anthem I am currently using? I am rather experienced at airburshing, but have never used an Iwata before... so is the hype true? Is my brand new iwata better than my trusty badger?

I think this is backwards; we should be asking you. You have the airbrush, you tell us which you think is better. Smile [:)]

Does your Iwata have plastic parts (other than the tail cap)? If so, your Badger's better. But Iwata's are good 'brushes.

i'm kinda in the same boat as Scott, WHY DON'T YOU HOOK ER' UP AND SEE FOR YOURSELF!!! or, i could email you my address and you could send both of your airbrushes to me, i'll try them out for a trial period of say.................a year or 12, and i won't bill you but $53 per hour as your airbrush consultant?!! sounds like a deal to me, what do ya say? later.Wink [;)]

All right. I hooked her up. I saw for my self. My badger is goign to get used a lot less.

The Iwata is a notch above my 155. Finer lines, better machining and superb control and feel. Now I love my 155 but I know a better airbrush when i have it in my hand.
